THE TIMES LEADER... AIDING THE SEX TRADE... & A CLASS ACTION

                                                          courtesy: Times Leader

See Times leader commentary from Betty Roccograndi HERE

There is a reason ads for prostitution aren't allowed on TV. Because the trade is illegal and beyond our sensibilities.

But that doesn't stop the Times Leader. Despite a state police investigation involving human trafficking of Asian women just four years ago - the Times Leader (via the Weekender) couldn't say no to industry money. They accepted money from the Aroma Spa (see pictures) and many other sex houses and prostitution services. The back few pages of any of the Times leader's "Weekender" is smattered with ads.

TIMES LEADER ARTICLE HERE
 courtesy: Times Leader

A reporter told me they  have taken money from various "rub and tugs," topless bars, "jack shacks," escort services, and home "service" shops. Good to the community? I think not.

This isn't the least bit funny. Where do you think the valley's heroin addicted young women show up for cash? These women are all daughters of someone. Ever think if they didn't have cash they might actually try and recover? It is called a bottom. And the Time leader has been "raising the bottom" for years. Do you think an Asian girl who cannot speak 10 words of English is not a slave to these parlors? The only separator bewteen a stripper and an escort is the level of desperation. Thanks Times Leader.

Could the Times Leader have helped these women on the fringe? Of course they could. They didn't have to allow ads for these "sex for sale" shops. But they did. Because they are arrogant. Because they are greedy. And quite honestly - because they really don't care. They aided and abetted this industry. Period.

Please show your disdain for the Times Leader with you wallet. Cancel your subscription. Buy the Citizen's Voice (who is now ahead of the Times Leader). Perhaps we could put them out of business. This would be true justice.

TIMES LEADER: LOCAL CENTER FOR SMUT AND LIBEL

George Spohr Editor Times Leader (courtesy Times Leader)

The Comments section on the Times Leader
is currently encountering these issues:

- People representing a different person (with picture)... and writing for that person
- People taking on as many as 5 aliases
- People co-committantly hijacking a profile while the other person still has the profile (and alias)
- Libel as routine as the morning sun.
- People falsely accusing people of crimes (just making stuff up)

SMUT AND LIBEL: The Times Leader comments section has become dirtier than a toilet stall wall in a train station. It is filthy, disgusting, and nobody has any idea who is who. But as long as the Times Leader gets the "views" they want... they don't care who is hurt.

VICTIMLESS?
Do you want a job? Everything posted is out there on the internet for an employer or potential employer to see. If you don't get a job... wouldn't you want to know if it was because libel was spread about you?

What about this nightmare? Let's pretend you name is John Doe. Currently the Times Leader has no supervision from this type of message:  Post (from someone not named John Doe):  John Doe posting:  If I don't get my kids back I am going to blow up ZXZ Elementary School!    (again, this is a fake!)  Can you imagine the hell in trying to prove it wasn't you?

LIBEL    The Times Leader could care less. Believe me. Many of us have tried. They claim not to be responsible for their own web page.

The Times leader makes you, the victim,
responsible for repairing the damage!!!

YOUR (INSANE) RECOURSE (straight from Times Leader)

1) First you have to know that someone libeled you. If you don't make a habit of checking the "smut" commentary section you won't likely know.

2) If you DO know it... the TL won't remove the comment

3) You must flag it

4) You then must call two other friends to flag it (3 total)

5) Even then it will not be removed immediately.

CLASS ACTION: If a company ever deserves a class action this one does. They are arrogant, unethical, and have shown they are willing to advertise for an industry that is ruining our daughters for life. If you have been a victim of libel please contact me. I am taking information from both attorneys and victims of libel. Please send me a private Facebook message at Mark M Robbins on facebook.  Thank you.

THE SHERMAN HILLS REPORT

In a right-to-know I paid the city of Wilkes-Barre over 300 dollars for inspection and audit records for Sherman Hills. The results are disturbing and I have asked Law Enforcement to look into this.

First, a simple question. Why would a cash-strapped city forego a gold mine in inspection fees for years at Sherman Hills? The only answer that makes sense: Corruption

I am suggesting the same person who may have shared in
A) A recent $7.7 million profit from Sherman Hills and/or
B) kickbacks from Sherman Hills and/or
C) a silent and secretive interest in Sherman Hills

would have had incentive to leave Sherman Hills...

1) uninspected to save around a million dollars (fees, repairs, evictions, cost of empty units etc.) on 330 units and
2) when such units were inspected - to have no matching receipts for these inspections.

Citizens Voice: Sherman Hills ducked inspections. See HERE.
Times Leader: Sherman Hills under Scrutiny. See HERE.

I have a huge stack of inspections (last few years only) and virtually no paid receipts. Were other landlords in Wilkes-Barre charged and not Sherman Hills?

COPS FOR CASH   My findings would support what I have posited. The safety of WBPD officers has been exchanged for cash. In my opinion, Leighton would be the most likely recipient.

Generally, from the information received:
A) Inspections weren't made for years (2004- late 2010)
B) The inspections that were made had no receipts to go with them.
C) The fine that Sherman Hills ($33,000) received could very well be a deceptive move to make it seem like the city cared. It may be illegitimate. When you are playing with $7.7 million in profit what's $33k?
D) There was a federal raid on Sherman Hills about two years ago. I don't know the outcomes from this.

But most importantly... please look into this:

- Sherman Hills bought the development for $8 million
Three years later it is sold for $15.8 million to Treetop LLC. - an AFFILIATE of Sherman Hills.
-  $7.7 million profit

One must ask how this bullet ridden, gun driven, heroin hidden cesspool doubles in value in three years? THIS DOES NOT ADD UP.

As always in WB... when something makes no sense there is almost always corruption involved.

Transgender Woman named to Gov Wolf's cabinet

A Transgender woman is assigned male at birth (downstairs; the plumbing) but has a female gender identity (upstairs; the brain). Like all variants to heterosexuality, one's gender identity will lead to who the person will be attracted to.

Transgender people experience pain at all levels. They are often ridiculed and isolated. The surgery to change their sex is long and involved.

So please take a moment and honor Dr. Levine in her struggle to become who she really is. And thank you Governor Wolf for your equanimity in hiring. You have made a bold statement for the good and have led well by example.

Article:  On Saturday, Governor-Elect Tom Wolf released the names of four more members of his cabinet, one of which is a transgender woman, Dr. Rachel Levine, who will serve as his physician general.
Dr. Levine, a resident of Middletown, Pennsylvania, is currently a professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she also serves as chief of the Division of Adolescent Medicine and Eating Disorders, a program she created on her own. She has also worked actively with the school’s Office of Diversity, mentoring LGBT students, faculty and staff, and she sits on the board of Equality PA.

In her role as physician general, Levine will advise the governor and secretary of the Department of Health on medical and public health-related issues. In a press release sent out this weekend, Wolf explains why he chose her for this position:
“Dr. Rachel Levine is well-respected in the fields of pediatrics, psychiatry, and behavioral health, where she has practiced for close to three decades. She has been a leading voice in efforts to treat teens with medical and psychological problems, as well as adults and children with eating disorders. It is important to me that we place equal emphasis on behavioral and physical health issues. Dr. Levine will bring expertise and wide-ranging knowledge to this important role advising the secretary of Health and me on medical and public health matters."
A rep from Wolf's office wasn't able to confirm with 100 percent certainty, but he believes Dr. Levine is the first transgender woman to hold the title of physician general.

Gay Christian Inclusion for Smart people

My hope is that this post is instructive. I do not wish to offend anyone. "Smart" people, as defined here, are those that put compassion ahead of cherry picking, read the bible in context, want all to be included in the church, and are guided by the Spirit in understanding the very simple words below.

Homosexual ORIENTATION was not recognized until 1892.
Smart people realize that the "homosexual behaviors" listed in the
bible therefore existed through straight men (almost entirely) who let their lust wander into very dark areas.

This was the time of Caligula and Nero.

Smart people realize all sexual relations then were hierarchical.
They did not have the frame of reference of today
where gay and straight relationships are of relative equals.

You can see a picture above of a single heterosexual man having relations with a boy. Caligula had young boys castrated for his pleasure. This way they would always remain "young." This next part is really gross... so you may want to skip to the next picture. Castration occurred by mashing the testicles and cutting the vas deferens (tiny canal). Sex with boys was called pederasty (current day pedophilia).

The heterosexual men in the first century also had sex with prostitutes just like todays "straight" men. Nothing has changed here.

Heterosexual men also had relations with slaves - both male and female. It is important to note that to be the submissive partner was to be seen as a woman who was considered weak at the time. This is why men in battle would rape the conquered men. It was to humiliate them. It was about power.

The "GLBT" in the picture stands for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender. Normally it is written as LGBT. The "reparative therapy" programs (to change sexual orientation) are all but dead. In my home state of pennsylvania there is not a single outreach. The leading ministry of this type - Exodus International - has made a mass apology and claims a zero per cent success rate. Reparative therapy is so destructive it is being banned in some states.

This is a good thing. LGBT's have their gender identity "stamped at birth." It is fixed. If you don't believe me... ask the next five people you bump into who are gay. This is why smart gay people wonder why they are told to "repent" when they were given an unchangeable circumstance.

No other sin is like this. However, it makes sense as "sin" if the Bible is read properly in context. It is a sin for heterosexual people to perform gay acts because this is not their given orientation. It is a changeable circumstance.

FROM THE GOOD BOOK
SIN = Heterosexuals who can't control their lust and perform homosexual acts previously mentioned.

NO SIN = Gay orientation. The Bible is silent here. It is also silent of those of an LGBT orientation expressing their sexuality. These are the facts.

Do you know what smart people see as a contradiction?

The sin of greed can lead to the sin of stealing. (both the thought and the act are sins)
The sin of anger can lead to the sin of murder. (both the thought and the act are sins)
A gay orientation is not a sin but expressing it is a sin (sex). (the thought is OK but the logical act is not).

A smart person can see this makes no sense at all. It represents the "manufactured rules" of church leaders who misuse the "gift" of celibacy in a mandated and punitive manner. No smart and clear thinking LGBT is going to allow some hackneyed man-made rule to govern their lives. Crazy.

The chart above is amazing. A smart person would not try to formulate a behavioral handbook from this spaghetti of contradictions.

A smart person would focus on the principles of Jesus who said the two greatest commands are:
1) Love God
2) Love your neighbor as yourself

Mom knows best: One "mother bear" of a gay child exclaimed, "God made my son the way he is. If you don't like it then blame God. I am not destroying my child through the nonsense of reparative therapy. If my church kicks us out - they will have to say it my face!" (the child is still happily ensconced in the church run by a compassionate and smart pastor).

Consider what Pope Francis said:  "If they (gays) accept the Lord and have goodwill, who am I to judge them?"

Or what mega-church East Lake (Seattle) Minister Ryan Meeks said:  “I refuse to go to a church where my friends who are gay are excluded from Communion or a marriage covenant or the beauty of Christian community. It is a move of integrity for me—the message of Jesus was a message of wide inclusivity.”

CRITICS: Some critics claim that some parents of gays do their Bible study in a biased way when they find out their child is gay. This is unfair and inaccurate. The knee-jerk response is almost always to claim: "We need to fix him/her. Where can we get counseling?" It is at this point that research about reparative therapy is done and it is found that the success rate is about 0 per cent.

Here people read further and realize that the anti-gay verses in the Bible are routinely taken out of context... while the verses subjugating women and condoning slavery ARE put in context and given new modern meaning as a result. Did you know the Bible never speaks against polygamy? But this too is given new modern meaning.

People learn that in regards to LGBT's they have never been told the truth in the Bible. Just surface meanings with no context. Why the harsh treatment towards gays? A simple answer: bigotry. People have a desire to scapegoat. Being gay is "icky" and gays have never defended themselves well - until now.

HYPOCRITES    I believe it is wonderful that Mary Cheney (daughter of Dick Cheney) married her love, Heather Poe, and that they are happy. Mary Cheney also had two children through an arrangement. I agree with Mary Cheney that same sex couplses can parent as well as other couples. Love is love... and you can't "catch" gayness.

The hypocricy, of course, is from the non-affirming crowd who gave the entire family a free pass because Dick Cheney is "one of them." I don't want anyone to attack their family... I am calling for people to affirm (or saying nothing would be a start) all who judge others by their orientation.

What I hope the non-affirming individuals cull from this experience is that these matters are always intensely personal for those going through them. Christ's light would be brightened if they showed the same compassion and space to all people and not just those who are politically connected in the "right way."

When you know someone who is gay, or know of someone whose is gay (say a celebrity), a common response is to do research to find out more. Upon study, most  amateur "researchers" find that the sharp edge of scripture softens considerably when context is brought into the mix.

Consider the two couples below (Jodie Foster/other and Anderson Cooper/other). Do these couple have anything in common to the degeneracy I described in the first century? How could they be further away from that deplorable activity? The Bible never mentioned gay orientation and was certainly not speaking against the classy and modest couples below and the millions that are just like them.

It is time for inclusion. Those who fight the LGBT community... please let go. Hanging onto an untenable position promotes rancor and frustration. Please drop your sword. It is time to treat all people as God's children. May we all put people, many who have suffered immeasurably, in the protective hands of god.

WHAT IS EVIL? Some Christians exporting bigotry and hate

Look at the rainbow that appeared during Westboro Baptist Church protest of a pro Christian LGBT (and friends/family) event held in Portland Oregon.

Coincidence?

1300 attendees (Growth rate now almost 100 % per year)

Below is a map of where the "Being gay is a choice" wackos have set up resources for LGBT's to "pray the gay away." Places where ministers have "parked their brain at the door" and skewed scripture to match their hate and bigotry.

Yet despite having the backing of heavy hitters like Liberty University (Falwell) and famous authors - their "ministry" (used very loosely) is shrinking into nothing here in the U.S. There are 17 states (including Pa) where there are no resources (see below... the pin that looks like it is in Pa is actually in Binghamton, NY).

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT EVIL IS?  Since America has become wise and compassionate to the LGBT issue... some "nutjob" missionaries are taking their hate abroad. These people are pushing harsh anti-gay laws in Russia and Africa where less education is correlated with ignorance and bigotry. People are being unfairly imprisoned and even hung because of the vitriol that these "Jesus loving" Christians are spewing.

Sadly, fundamentalist Muslims haven't cornered the market. The inaccurate and hate-filled messages certain Christians are exporting is a form of terrorism (they might as well tie the noose themselves).

DO YOU WHY MANY MINISTERS (INCLUDING SOME IN NE PA) WERE AGAINST HATE LAWS?  Because they didn't want their "right" to hate gays taken away. Nice. Real nice. WHO DO YOU THINK IS FUNDING WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH? Hindus?

From attendee at event in Portland (LGBT and friends/family event)   I attended the Gay Christian Network's (GCN) 11th conference in Portland, Oregon at the end of last week. There were 1300 registered attendees, perhaps 1500 people attending in total, from 46 states and 11 countries. I came to learn about their communication strategies, their pastoral work, and their education efforts, and to network in my role as Director of Communications and Board member of IntegrityUSA. Matt Haines, President of the Board of Directors for IntegrityUSA, attended with me. I also attended with my heart and mind opened by the Episcopal Church and by my heavy participation at All Saints Pasadena.

The conference began under Justin Lee to meet the needs of the evangelical community. When I say evangelical in this context, I am using the popular meaning. I consider myself a progressive evangelical which, to the media, would seem an oxymoron at best, a cognitively dissonant impossibility at worst. But that's what I consider myself to be, as many who attend All Saints Pasadena probably do as well.

The GCN attendance has expanded to attract mainline and Catholic attendees now. Though its prayers sessions have a Baptist or Pentacostal feel, the Sunday communion service was broad enough to offer grape juice as well as wine, and provided a Eucharist for those who prefer consubstantiation as well as transubstantiation.

And that's what made the conference so powerful to me. It was broad and inclusive and completely loving. Rachel Held Evans, a popular writer that I follow on Twitter, has tweeted "I don’t just look to #GCNConf for how to better engage LGBT issues. I look to #GCNConf for how to be a better Christian." This was exactly how many of us felt at the Portland Convention Center. We weren't learning and living and reconciling and sharing as LGBT-only people. We were the church community, all together, whether straight, gay, bi, trans, or questioning.

We were Christians first: Christians who were grappling to live out our calling and faith while living with the reality that we or people we loved are LGBT.

There were astonishingly profound speakers. We listened and wept at the amazing first plenary talk by Jeff Chu, author of "Does Jesus Really Love Me?: A Gay Christian's Pilgrimage in Search of God in America". We listened and wept as Danny Cortez, Pastor of La Mirada's New Heart Community Church, shared his journey from a Southern Baptist anti-LGBT congregation to LGBT affirming. And we listened and wept as musician and theologian Vicky Beeching described her journey, which continues to day.

It wasn't a sobfest. We laughed and nodded in understanding at their stories. Those attending seemed to relate at a deeply personal level at the struggles faced. And I got to break bread with many who shared these stories, whether by reconnecting with friends, like H Adam Ackley who I hadn't seen since my wedding, or meeting new ones such as other Episcopalians from throughout this great country.

As a marked contrast to the beauty of this faithful pastoral care for each other, we also were confronted with a well known Westboro protest group from Kansas, best known for picketing at funerals of victims and soldiers. Thankfully, a wall of love was erected by local churches. These churches, having heard of the sound-bite protesters, created by their presence a wall of safety so that attendees could pray in peace. This is love made manifest.

And above the protesters, God brought forth his promised reminder that we will always be loved and never destroyed: an enormous double rainbow that spanned across the whole sky. I won't post a photo of the protesters, as that just affirms and enables them. Instead, I just show the symbol of God's eternal love, a literal wink wink of irony at the scene played out below.

I am deeply happy and a fuller, more understanding Christian to have met so many loving people. The parents and family of LGBT who attended were a clear sign that the Holy Spirit was working her way through us. Near the end of the conference, GCN's Justin Lee unveiled a new amazing, loving program LiveLoveOut.com which will invite everyone and anyone, regardless of LGBT concerns, to help find ways to help the LGBT teen homelessness epidemic.

And the best part of it all was that we weren't a monolithic, group-think assembly of people. The diversity was astonishing, whether by ethnicity, age, Christian faith tradition, "outness", or income. I had people asking me about the Episcopal Church and how we handled LGBT. I spoke with people who asked me to pray so that they'll be granted the strength, wisdom, and courage to bring up LGBT issues to their churches. I prayed with those who knew that honesty about their sexuality might risk losing the ministry that they cherished and loved.

It's like that movie that came out in the 90s called My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The romantic comedy played up romance and the wedding of a quiet Anglo-American with a Greek-American from a large immigrant family. Normally, as a Filipino-American, I'm used to being the one who comes from the loud ethnic family and dating someone who comes from more reserved American backgrounds. At the GCN conference, however, the reserved Christianity that is often found in the Episcopal Church stood in sharp contrast to the hands-in-the-air families from other Protestant churches. On the face of it, it just seemed like it wouldn't work.

But it did work. And for Christians to live out their calling among LGBT realities, it has to work, every day, in every community. It worked because we were in that thin-space where love washes over every and all wounds.

We are all welcome to the table of love. We cannot choose to eject someone, for the Gospels say that we are all invited. In fact, the least of us are meant to be at the head of the table. The Christian love I found at this conference renewed and filled me in a way as deeply meaningful as my pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago.

May all those who walk this journey be strengthened by our Christian love and communities.

Letter to Governor elect Wolf re: Bill Vinsko hire

Dear Governor-elect Wolf:

We the members of the Wilkes-Barre Taxpayers Association (WBTPA) are deeply disturbed by an appointment that has been rumored to have been made by you, Governor-elect Wolf. The appointment involves Wilkes-Barre City Attorney William (Bill) Vinsko who has served approximately a decade under his relative, the very corrupt Wilkes-Barre Mayor Thomas Leighton.

The WBTPA feel that it is appropriate that you, Governor-elect Wolf, knows what has happened in Wilkes-Barre under Vinsko's watch. If Vinsko has withheld any of the following to you we believe that it speaks to his integrity. We would hope that you, sir, would release him of any duties. We first learned of a relationship between you and Vinsko when you and your wife visited the Vinsko family in Wilkes-Barre. A photograph was posted.

Has Vinsko been transparent with you in all of the following which occurred on Vinsko’s watch?
- Are you aware aware that the city of Wilkes-Barre is under a major FBI Investigation?
- Are you aware that the LAG Towing (city contracted) criminal empire operated at full throttle under Vinsko? The criminal racket included bribes, price gouging, and stolen cars.
- Are you aware that Leo Glodzik, owner of LAG Towing, was convicted of a felony as part of an FBI sting?
- Are you aware that Leighton promised surreptitious sweetheart property deals to Leo Glodzik?
- Are you aware that five people including Leo Glodzik and two police officers were indicted for credit union fraud?
- Are you aware that the credit union manager committed suicide related to this investigation?
- Are you aware that Mayor Thomas Leighton and Gerard Dessoye soiled the offices of Mayor and police chief with chronic substance abuse. It would be worth pursuing what Vinsko did, if anything, regarding this situation.
- Are you aware that so much gas was missing/stolen from the city pumps that one could drive a mid-size vehicle the distance to the moon and back?
- Are you aware that Leighton was photographed stealing gas (which was later put on a billboard)?
- Did you know that it is alleged that Leighton has monetary ties to the Sherman Hills development (slum) that has been the scene of many murders and shootings and is widely known to be infested with out of state drug dealers.
- Do you know that Leighton has purposefully refrained from inspecting (or auditing of the residents) for a decade?

Governor-elect Wolf, we ask that you retract any employment offers made to William Vinsko. His abject apathy and condoning of corruption speaks for itself. We have witnessed it for a decade. Please do not stain the commencement of your duties with this hire.

                                                                             Respectfully,

                                                                             Wilkes-Barre Taxpayers Association

CITY COVER-UP RISKS LIVES OF WBPD

I, Mark Robbins, on behalf of Frank Sorick and the Wilkes-Barre Taxpayers Association, asked for inspection reports on Sherman Hills as part of a "right-to-know." This drug infested, Bronx mutated development is one of the most dangerous in the country.

To a person - we are livid with Leighton and his cronies. At best, we believe the development was inspected once in the past ten years... and this estimate may be too high.

Our recent request was met with foul play and corruption.

Quick snap shot:
1) We requested the inspection records from city hall and was given a specific amt to pay: $102.50 (see below). The money was sent.
2) This specific dollar amount represents a specific number of records - so we know that at least some records exist (410).
3) As always... city hall plays games and waits 30 days
4) On day 36 (max supposed to be 30) they claim the Right-to-know wasn't specific enough on two of the three requests. The other request they are asking for nearly $300.

COPS FOR CASH (Money exchanged for police safety)
We are not comfortable with:
1) Allegations that Leighton has received kickbacks or a silent interest in Sherman Hills.
2) To all appearances, Sherman Hills sold itself to a subsidiary of Sherman Hills - Treetop Development. For a 100 % profit.
3) Leighton's alleged monetary interest in Sherman Hills has essentially stopped all inspections.
4) No inspections (or audits of occupants) has led to one officer being shot in the foot (by someone who wasn't supposed to be there) and risks the lives of all officers called there.

We are also concerned with:
1) Elected representatives (Pashinski and Cartwright) have pretended to care and done nothing. They might as well serve as place holders.
2) The city solicitors are not fulfilling their requirements to protect the city's interests in regards to this matter. They are "city attorneys," not "Leighton attorneys."

We have seen the pictures of our next Governor and his wife with solicitor Bill Vinsko and his family in Vinsko's home (Lu Lac Letter). It is our understanding that Vinsko was offered a job with Governor-to-be Wolf.

The WBTPA feel that it is appropriate that Governor Wolfe knows what has happened in Wilkes-Barre under Vinsko's watch. Frankly, citizens are afraid of the thought Vinsko might have more power and what he might do to the state. He has given little to no reason for any citizen to trust him. And he has been "oh so comfortable" in his role.

Has Vinsko been transparent in telling Governor-to-be Wolf about what has happened under his (Vinsko's) watch?

- Is Wolf aware that the city is under a major FBI Investigation?
- Is Wolf  aware of the LAG Criminal Empire that took place under Vinsko's nose for at least 8 years?
- Is Wolf aware of the five indictments and suicide?
- Is Wolf aware of gas-gate and alleged bribes received by Leighton
- As city attorney did Vinsko do anything to bring respect to the offices of Mayor and police chief given both positions were held by chronic alcoholics?
- Have you ever thought of the effects on morale of the police force with a chief so drunk he couldn't be called at night?

The Wilkes-Barre Taxpayers will have a certified letter sent to Governor Tom Wolf prior to Wolf's signing-in on January 20.

We hope the new Governor would dismiss William Vinsko if Vinsko misrepresented his record in Wilkes-Barre. We believe Vinsko must have for surely no one could hire a Wilkes-Barre city attorney (and relative to Leighton) given the horrible corruption and substance abuse that has sunk the city for a decade. It is difficult imagining Vinsko doing a worse job. It is time for the pretty boy to be revealed.

To the Mayor specifically -

Drunken prayers aren't answered. Especially "Please let me quit tomorrow." Father Ryan of King's did what many priests do best...  they hide people. He found a hiding place for Gerard Dessoye putting King's College at risk. He is in a position to drink to the grave. Nice job, Ryan. Perhaps the mayor could ask the recalcitrant Ryan to sprinkle him with holy water. Thomas Leighton - you will try everything except doing the right thing. Integrity must be earned over time and you have none.

To the city of Wilkes-Barre -

You have once again shown you another act of bad faith. Play games at your peril. Right is might and the people and honest law enforcement officials overwhelmingly support us. We will win. We won't stop until we do. We look forward to the day when a prison door clanks and WB officials are on the other side.

                 Until then... Wilkes-Barre Taxpayers Association
