JJ Murphy $300 per hr part of investigation

From "Wake Up Wilkes-Barre"... According to The Wilkes Barre Independant Gazette and WILK Newsradio’s Facebook page, the Wilkes Barre City Parking Authority received a subpoena to testify before the Federal Grand Jury, regarding the alleged shady over-billing by Former Wilkes-Barre Administrator J.J. Murphy who was hired by Fox Rothschild as a consultant at a fee of $300 per hour.

"Parking Authority board members claiming they were repeatedly "misled" throughout the process."

"At the time, authority secretary Ed Katarsky accused Leighton of "pushing us, pressuring us" to have Fox Rothschild oversee the process and allowing Murphy be the consultant. Meanwhile, Leighton denied responsibility for Murphy being hired as a consultant."

 I provide to you the scam JJ Murphy pulled off on the city of Wilkes-Barre regarding the Parking Authority. Here is what the city was paying per hour (unbeknownst to most everybody).

JJ Murphy   $300 / $400 per hour   This was paid furtively through JJ's brother’s Philly law firm in Philadelphia (Fox Rothschild). People were stunned.

Alan Wohlstetter   $400 / $500 per hour    Wohlstetter worked for the Philly firm of Fox Rothschild.

Rosen, Jenkins, & Greenwald   $200 = Approximate pay for City solicitor

Total = $900 per hour    To go as high as $1,100 per hour

Additionally, JJ Murphy is named in a lawsuit against the city. The lawsuit states that Murphy satisfies the element of “intent to harm” by interfering with a contractual relation as wells as a “tortious interference” claim against a local business. Federal Judge Richard Caputo refused to dismiss the charges against Murphy. It involves the "police raid" against Thom Greco's business (The "Mines") near King's College. The underage club never had a single citation against it.

This lawsuit is expected to be the biggest civil rights lawsuit in NEPA’s history. Thanks JJ. Murphy – you left with you tail between your legs in a fog of shame and embarrassment. You left so fast you left your family behind. You may call people in the article idiots… but you will long be remembered by your nickname - the "snake." Go slither in your hole.
