Most of the readers of this blog are pretty intelligent so you can make your own minds up. Eddie Day Pashinski was asked about Sherman Hills in the TIMES LEADER. 

Leigton claimed that the units were up to code. So I called Bill O'Boyle (reporter at Times Leader). He does not have proof that the city brought the units up to code... he took the statement from Leighton.

Until the city shows detailed proof that all units were inspected... I don't believe Leighton. The city needs to show proof that inspections were made going back to 2004.

Despite several recent shootings and a dead body found in the grass... claims are being made, hilariously, that progress is being made among the 900 or so people that live in Sherman Hills.

WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THE CARNAGE?
HUD is blamed
Posters plastered in NYC were blamed (inviting tenants). Can you imagine blaming posters for murders?
The old Landlord was blamed.

Leighton was held blameless by his two democratic brethren - Cartwight and Pashinski. Their credibility is sinking like cement shoes in water.

SHERMAN HILLS SAVED $ HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS IN INSPECTION FEES, REPAIR COSTS, CODE VIOLATIONS, EVICTION COSTS, AND EMPTY UNIT COSTS.

IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR OWN MINDS... DO YOU THINK THAT:

A) SHERMAN HILLS WAS SO SAFE LEIGHTON DID NOT FEEL INSPECTIONS WERE NECESSARY?

B) LEIGHTON WAS GETTING KICKBACKS FROM SHERMAN HILLS WHO WERE SAVING INCREDIBLE AMOUNTS OF MONEY? ALL LEIGHTON HAD TO DO WAS BACK OFF.

Why wouldn't you inspect the most dangerous part of Wilkes-Barre? 

How can you not cite this as reason for so much violence?

In my opinion Pashinski is absolutely covering up the corruption of Leighton - and I am calling him out on it.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Mayor's protection

of Sherman Hills has needlessly cost many lives to be lost.

Again, you make up your own mind.
