LEIGHTON TO BARROUK: "I WILL PAY YOU TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH"

This is the clear message given to the new 91,000 dollar man. This is the salary of the new WB City Manager - Greg Barrouk. Is he qualified? Oh... I forgot... the only qualification that matters to Leighton is one's ability to "shut up and look the other way."

One may argue that he was the Assistant City Manager. But he wasn't qualified for that either. It would be like saying that since you work in a Doctor's office that you are qualified to be a physician! So what has he done? He was the "face" on the completely botched mullt-million Hawkeye Camera System. As a result of his failure he will be paid almost $100,000.

This appointment is an insult to all the more diligent and disciplined and smarter students who earned their MBA's (or even a business/accounting degree). Would any of you like this salary?

Barrouk has a Psychology degree from Wilkes. And now he is the city business manager.

Others:
- Kathy Kane: School teacher working as Controller; sometimes shows up
- Liza Prokopf: Leighton's YMCA trainer as spokesman
- New King's graduate: Head of Municipal Affairs (How different than City Manager or Asst City Manager?). Fresh out of college.
- Thomas Leighton: 3 hour workday (see below)
- Greg Barrouk: Paid nearly $100,000 per year to run city business with a Psychology degree.
- Jim Ryan: Paid an astonishing $80,000 per year to work in the sleepy records office where a wall hides all the newspaper reading.

This looks to me like an operation an active alcoholic would run.

Why is Leighton filling Greg Barrouk's old spot when he (Leighton) only works three hours per day? (source: Former city administrator JJ Murphy in court room testimony in Montgomery County, Pa). THERE MUST BE A LOT OF INTERNET SURFING AT CITY HALL! 

Of course it helps to be connected. Daddy Barrouk led the CHAMBER. The he switched hats to work for the now imprisoned MERICLE.

QUESTIONS:
(1) Did Steve Barrouk sell properties from the Chamber to Mericle at less than market prices?
(2) Did Barrouk agressively buy properties for the Chamber with the destination of Mericle in mind?
(3) Were all Chamber properties competitively bid on?
(4) Were Chamber properties sold to Mericle at lowball prices so Barrouk (and Mericle) could later make a killing on buying/leasing these properties?

Would any of this be legal as Head of the Chamber? Just asking.

It is easy to like the Barrouk's. They are pleasant and nice people. But it is also important to look past the "nice-ness" and ask tough questions. Corruption can come in "smiley packages."

- JUST LOOK AT HAWKEYE TO SEE THE RESULTS  (WHAT IF THE PERSON RUNNING IT WAS ACTUALLY COMPETENT?)

CORRUPT KINGS COLLEGE MAY HAVE CONNIVED TO GET THEIR SUSPECT BUILDINGS... BUT STUDENTS WILL NOT WANT TO COME TO A CITY THAT LOOKS LIKE DETROIT.

HEY IRS... YOU LOOKING FOR THESE FROM LAG TOWING?

I hope the information below proves useful to the IRS in their investigation into the corrupt "LAG Towing" and the many corrupt officials that helped make it happen. Below I have listed revenues collected by LAG for demolition work. $702,000   I claim that this is merely some of the revenues LAG collected... I do not claim that this all of the revenues collected

MORE WRONGDOING FROM NEW WB POLICE CHIEF

According to a very reputable source who has repeatedly informed me of the information below... I am of the opinion of all of the following...

New acting WB police chief Bob Hughes was given three "plates" from A1 Auto for his (his family's) personal use. They were issued by Jaime Nardone, the owner and/or operator of A1 AUTO. These were illegally given.

These transgressions would be in addition to the stolen cars that I alleged Hughes was selling through LAG via consignment (see post from day before).

FRAUD

IT WAS ILLEGAL FOR A1 AUTO TO ISSUE THESE PLATES. SUCH PLATES SAVE THE BENEFICIARY 

(1) THE COST OF THE PLATES

(2) THE COST OF INSURANCE

IT ILLEGALLY INSURES DRIVERS WHO ARE NOT PART OF THE BUSINESS. IT IS FRAUD. A POLICEMAN IN A SUPERVISORY POSITION (LIEUTENANT/CAPTAIN HUGHES) WOULD KNOW BETTER.

PLATES CAN ONLY GO TO EMPLOYEES OR RELATIVES OF THE BUSINESS OWNER

BELOW IS AN EXAMPLE OF AN ILLEGAL PLATE.

IT WAS GIVEN TO OFFICER MAJIKES WHO WAS NOT EMPLOYED BY LAG TOWING.

THE PHOTO I TOOK OF THE TRUCK ABOVE LED TO ME BEING CITED FOR TRESPASSING BEHIND THE POLICE STATION. I WAS THE ONLY ONE EVER  (IN THE HISTORY OF THAT STATION) TO BE CITED FOR TRESPASSING.

AT THE SCENE OFFICER BRIAN GIST MADE APPARENT THE CULPABILITY OF THE DRIVER OF THE TRUCK. HE SHOUTED AT ME, "I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING!"

TWO OUTCOMES FROM THIS ONE PICTURE (2 SCAMS REVEALED)

(1) LOANER CARS: THIS BROKE OPEN THE LOANER CAR SCANDAL (I REFER TO THEM AS BRIBES)

(2) CREDIT UNION GATE: IT TOOK ABOUT A MONTH FOR MAJIKES TO BUY THE TRUCK FROM GLODZIK. 

WHY SO LONG? THIS MAY HAVE TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT A FRAUDULENT LOAN FROM THE CREDIT UNION MAY HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT ON THIS DODGE RAM BY OFFICER NINOTTI. 

THE LENGTH OF TIME IT TOOK TO STRAIGHTEN OUT OWNERSHIP/TITLE HAS ME THINK THAT THIS WAS THE DODGE RAM INVOLVED IN "CREDIT UNION" GATE. WHETHER IT IS THE SAME OR A DIFFERENT TRCK IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT.


THE PERFECT STORM FOR CORRUPTION:
1) Gerard Dessoye's secretary's husband managed LAG Towing
2) Glodzik could easily steal cars because Leighton and the police would cover for Glodzik. The victim was left in the dark with no one to take a complaint to. 

IF YOU HAVE A CONSCIENCE... PLEASE THINK OF ALL THE POOR PEOPLE THAT HIT THEIR ECONOMIC BOTTOM BECAUSE LAG STOLE THEIR CARS... AND LEIGHTON/DESSOYE/COPS WERE ONLY TOO HAPPY TO PLAY ALONG. 

OUR "PUBLIC SERVANTS" BECAME PREDATORS!

3) Dessoye refused to keep records thus disrupting the paper trail.
4) Dessoye would not enforce the "reasonable fees" clause of the contract making it easier for Glodzik to steal.
5) Glodzik was always looking for ways to "gussy up" to the police because (such as champagne at Christmas; bribes for tows) because:

- He depended on the police for his revenue
- It would strengthen the bonds between the "players" in the corruption racket called "CARS FOR CASH."

 ONCE AN OFFICER STEPPED OVER THE LINE... 

THIS WAS TANTAMOUNT TO A "BLOOD OATH" WITHIN THIS DISREPUTABLE GANG

LEIGHTON CANNOT AFFORD TO APPOINT A COMPLETELY HONEST CHIEF.

NEW WB CHIEF OF POLICE HUGHES: A STEP BACKWARDS

IN W-B, THE DIRT RISES TO THE TOP!

The information below is alleged to be true through numerous sources over at least a two year period. This information has been printed and/or referred to multiple times with no denials. It has even been referred to it as "Captain Bob Hughes Gate."

Why the hire of Hughes? In my opinion, Leighton has to hire somebody nearly as dirty as him. It is truly a gang mentality where initiation into the club is contingent upon past dirty deeds.

WHY ARE LAG CARS DEEMED TO BE STOLEN? Because Glodzik price gauged everyone who was towed (unless it was his "friend" or a cop). Retaining cars based on an illegal activity is theft. This is how LAG built his inventory. His lot was overflowing.

Therefore Hughes had to have sold stolen cars if they came from LAG. I wonder if he sold any cars that he personally had towed?

Bear in mind former WB chief Gerard Dessoye had a secretary named Barbara Smith. Her husband (Don Smith; aka "Wacker") managed LAG Towing for years. As you know, Gerard Dessoye violated the towing contract by

1) Not keeping "reasonable rates" as written in contract

2) Not maintaining any records (Dessoye: "It is not my business how much money LAG makes")

This laid the groundwork for an amazing amount of ill advised and/or illegal activity.

- Illegal loaner cars (I view them as bribes)

- Cars used for fraudulent loans

- Cars sold or scrapped?

- The alleged AMAZING conflict where (now acting) Chief Hughes had the power to tow cars on one end and sell them on the other end. 

GOOD RIDDANCE DESSOYE

Thank you Dessoye... for allowing LAG Towing to price gauge, steal cars, and provide cars for fraudulent loans. One heckuva criminal enterprise you played dumb to. If the drinking doesn't get you... the FBI will... if they 

don't then God will.

I was proud when my alma mater, Wyoming Seminary, took Rob Mericle's name down from the stadium as fast as it was put up. I am disappinted that KINGS appears not to have the same fervor for what is righteous.

Gerard Dessoye was a great police officer

I am told that in his day, Gerard Dessoye was a great police officer. I believe this. I am told that he was very smart and I can tell he has a nice manner about him (when he isn't trying to pin charges on me). Nobody can take that away from him.

However it appears a really nasty disease has gotten in the way. Probably half of the arrests made are against people with this disease. There is no imaginary line where the disease stops. It can happen to anyone. The problem is when you are police chief or mayor you are insulated by your position and all the of suckholes that want favors from you. Trust me... you are expendable. They could care less about your health.

I am really getting tired of cops and others of saying "Everyone knows he's a drunk" and do nothing. Gerard - please know this is what is being said behind your back. But please take comfort in knowing that all alcoholics have this said about them before they get help. You are definitely not alone. 

It amazes me that the police arrest addicts and alcoholics every day and won't confront the fact that when a mirror is raised to them. But political expediency takes over. If someone can gain an inch... they will take it even if it means those who are sick may soon go under. People are selfish in this way.

Apparently there was a retirement party for Dessoye on Wednesday night - at a bar of course. Celebrating and drinking with an alcoholic may be one the dirtiest feelings in the world. It's like faking you are happy after being told you have cancer.

I hope Dessoye takes a good look at who showed up last night. These are the folks he won't see visiting him in rehab. These are the sycophants.

I doubt Father Ryan would make the trek. Shame on all who takes this man close and closer to the grave. As completely awkward as it sounds - I have tried to reach out to him. I at least tried. And I have risked looking foolish in the process . Oh well.

Remember - it is embarrassing for everyone in the very beginning.

Getting better is way more courageous than anything you have done as a police officer. It's time. You too Leighton.

We who are in A.A. came because we finally gave up trying to control our drinking. We still hated to admit that we could never drink safely. Then we heard from other A.A. members that we were sick. (We thought so for years!) We found out that many people suffered from the same feelings of guilt and loneliness and hopelessness that we did. We found out that we had these feelings because we had the disease of alcoholism.

We decided to try and face up to what alcohol had done to us. Here are some of the questions we tried to answer honestly. If we answered YES to four or more questions, we were in deep trouble with our drinking. See how you do. Remember, there is no disgrace in facing up to the fact that you have a problem.

Answer YES or NO to the following questions.

1. Have you ever decided to stop drinking for a week or so, but only lasted for a couple of days?

Most of us in A.A. made all kinds of promises to ourselves and to our families. We could not keep them. Then we came to A.A. A.A. said: "Just try not to drink today." (If you do not drink today, you cannot get drunk today.)

2. Do you wish people would mind their own business about your drinking-- stop telling you what to do?

In A.A. we do not tell anyone to do anything. We just talk about our own drinking, the trouble we got into, and how we stopped. We will be glad to help you, if you want us to.

3. Have you ever switched from one kind of drink to another in the hope that this would keep you from getting drunk?

We tried all kinds of ways. We made our drinks weak. Or just drank beer. Or we did not drink cocktails. Or only drank on weekends. You name it, we tried it. But if we drank anything with alcohol in it, we usually got drunk eventually.

4. Have you had to have an eye-opener upon awakening during the past year?

Do you need a drink to get started, or to stop shaking? This is a pretty sure sign that you are not drinking "socially."

5. Do you envy people who can drink without getting into trouble?

At one time or another, most of us have wondered why we were not like most people, who really can take it or leave it.

6. Have you had problems connected with drinking during the past year?

Be honest! Doctors say that if you have a problem with alcohol and keep on drinking, it will get worse -- never better. Eventually, you will die, or end up in an institution for the rest of your life. The only hope is to stop drinking.

7. Has your drinking caused trouble at home?

Before we came into A.A., most of us said that it was the people or problems at home that made us drink. We could not see that our drinking just made everything worse. It never solved problems anywhere or anytime.

8. Do you ever try to get "extra" drinks at a party because you do not get enough?

Most of us used to have a "few" before we started out if we thought it was going to be that kind of party. And if drinks were not served fast enough, we would go some place else to get more.

9. Do you tell yourself you can stop drinking any time you want to, even though you keep getting drunk when you don't mean to?

Many of us kidded ourselves into thinking that we drank because we wanted to. After we came into A.A., we found out that once we started to drink, we couldn't stop.

Many of us admit now that we "called in sick" lots of times when the truth was that we were hung-over or on a drunk.

11. Do you have "blackouts"?

A "blackout" is when we have been drinking hours or days which we cannot remember. When we came to A.A., we found out that this is a pretty sure sign of alcoholic drinking.

12. Have you ever felt that your life would be better if you did not drink?

Many of us started to drink because drinking made life seem better, at least for a while. By the time we got into A.A., we felt trapped. We were drinking to live and living to drink. We were sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Did you answer YES four or more times? If so, you are probably in trouble with alcohol. Why do we say this? Because thousands of people in A.A. have said so for many years. They found out the truth about themselves — the hard way. But again, only you can decide whether you think A.A. is for you. Try to keep an open mind on the subject. If the answer is YES, we will be glad to show you how we stopped drinking ourselves. Just call. A.A. does not promise to solve your life's problems. But we can show you how we are learning to live without drinking "one day at a time." We stay away from that "first drink." If there is no first one, there cannot be a tenth one. And when we got rid of alcohol, we found that life became much more manageable.
