Dear teachers - As a former 10th grade teacher and college teacher I know the tribulations you go through. People who have never dealt with young people have no idea how difficult it is.
I would like to focus your attention on Bill 76. The PPSEA prescribe a "one size fits all." The property/school tax base in some of the poorer cities in Luzerne County cannot support our schools. Over 300 families have lost their homes because they could not afford the taxes. The tax burden then shifts to the smaller remainder. This is what I call the DEATH SPIRAL.
I have "no dog in the fight.." My kids are in a wealthy district. But as someone who cares - voting against 76 will only add more pain to this area and is not sustainable in terms of funding our schools. Spreading the school tax across the entire state makes so much more sense. It is the better, fairer, and safer way to fund our schools.Thank You.

Lastly... consider... why is Pashinsski so tight with Leighton who may be profiting off the hardship of residents.
1) Leighton can solicit homes "about to go under" through CA Leighton Co. It is a ready-made market... albeit with cheap homes.
2) He is the sole appraiser for the credit union. Who makes up the board of the credit union? A "who's who" of W-B cronies.
3) He has the opportunity to buy homes after they "go under" in "free and clear" sales and the like.
4) He can order no inspections for Sherman Hills like he did for years... and just order inspections on his rivals.
5) "Strike 1" gives him discretion (cops report to him) to target rental properties that are NOT HIS!
5) I have it from very good sources that he fraudulently that he fraudulently appraised his "ghetto" properties and borrowed against them for far more than they are worth.
6) He and Pashinski want to build more low income housing. Are you kidding me?
LEIGHTON IS RUNNING A REAL ESTATE HUSTLE
NOT TOO DISSIMILAR TO THE WAY LAG WAS RUNNING A SCAM ON CARS. LEIGHTON HAS HIS FINGER IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE HOUSING MARKET.
HE HAS THE POWER TO DIRECT TO HIS FAVOR.
RELIABLE SOURCES CLAIM LAG TOWING WAS REMITTING PAYMENT/VALUE TO LEIGHTON. THIS IS NO SURPRISE GIVEN THE WAY LEIGHTON WAS SECRETLY GIVING LEO GLODZIK VASTLY UNFERVALUED PROERTIES.
Alcoholics like Leighton aren't capable of telling the truth.
Anyone who has lived with one knows exactly what I am talking about.
Pashinski doesn't have to accompany Leighton. He chooses to.
This should frighten you. What is in it for Eddie?

This is a true statement. I as an unpaid private citizen have done more to help the following in W-B than Pashinski.
I apologize ahead of time for talking about myself but I only do so to make a very important point. Pashinski didn't lift a finger against the corruption I fought so hard against.
- I paid to get cars out of the LAG Towing criminal enterprise
- Paid for 4 "new" used cars for victims of LAG Towing theft.
- Paid taxes on numerous homes so they wouldn't be lost in sheriff sale.
- Paid for a funeral for a beloved murder victim.
- Paid some medical bills for a young boy who was attacked and put in a coma.
- I am told I have exposed at least half of the city's corruption

Who has Pashinski helped? Has anyone even seen him?
Betsy Summers and I are made of the same cloth. Her life has been nothing but sacrifice. Her teeth are crooked. Yet she saw to it that her daughter's teeth were perfectly straight. Betsy sacrificed so her daughter could attend one of the most prestigious schools in the country. She did not cheat along the way.
"Secret Eddie" meets privately with the Mayor and unions.
I hope the unions are smart enough to think for themselves on Bill 76.

Tom Leighton, Kathy Kane, Marty Kane, Bill Barrett, Timothy Henry, Bill Vinsko, Gerard Dessoye, Cops Ninotti and Anthony, Jim Ryan, Bob Hughes the LAG car salesman, Greg Barrouk, JJ Murphy, Bill Brace, Drew McLaughlin, Maureen McCormick, Murray Ufberg, Leo Glodzik, Majikes and all the sons & daughters & nephews & nieces & spouses & even ex-spouses.

And Pashinski... ever so furtively... floats in the middle of this pool so you never see him... he doesn't truly represent you... you can find him where the backroom deals take place.

2) Pashinski was a music teacher for 30 years. Which is wonderful. Both my sons are musicians.
But I wouldn't let him take my tonsils out. Nor should you trust his analysis of Bill 76. This bill will turn Wilkes-Barre into Detroit. 11 of the other 16 local candidates are for Bill 76
