Breaking News: TIMES LEADER ENDORSES BETSY SUMMERS

Our Opinion: Send Libertarian candidate Betsy Summers to Harrisburg to shake up establishment.    See link HERE.

THE REAL STORY ON SCHOOLS AND UNIONS

SCHOOLS     I, like most of Betsy Summer's supporters, love school teachers. I have taught 10th grade and at Lehigh University. As a teacher I know how difficult it is. No other profession puts you in an environment with thousands of noisy children. It is demanding.

HERE IS THE PROBLEM WITH PASHINSKI: Since he has taken over $17,000 in cash from the STATE teacher's union - he must follow their state directives.

A quick digression... the following spoof may be funny... but it is not a joke. Pashinski has to know what has been going on and has he stood for justice? Please answer for yourself.

OK... back to the school issue:
These STATE directives that Pashinski must swallow do not speak for what is best for LOCAL TEACHERS.

I mean this sincerely... only a really dumb person would not see the value of Bill 76:

1) All homeowners in WB, WB TWP, and Hanover would get thousands in cash.
2) The teachers would be better protected because the state would provide for salaries/pensions.
3) The collapsing W-B market cannot sustain what's needed. It is like building a house on quicksand.

PASHINSKI CANNOT SERVE YOU HERE BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN BOUGHT AND PAID FOR. It's that simple.

UNIONS    There are few people around that have a bigger heart for the "relatively" low-wage earners than Betsy Summers and I. Betsy has donated her time cleaning up alleys. Related to the LAG Towing scandal, I have bought 6 "new" used cars for people who have had their cars stolen by LAG. I have also saved some houses that were ready for a sheriff sale.

Betsy and I have a heart for the working poor / middle class etc... Our actions speak louder than words.

HERE IS THE PROBLEM WITH PASHINSKI: Since he has taken so much from STATE unions... he is not in a position to help the specific needs of the local unions. Bill 76 is an example. This bill would help any business related to housing because this bill effectively lowers the cost of all homes which spurs the market.

Carpet dealers. Appliance sellers. Roofers. Heating and AC. Painters. Insurance sellers. Furniture sellers etc...
