The "The Emperor had no clothes" is a tale written by Hans Christian Anderson in the 1830's. It is a story about false grandeur... about grandiosity. Everyone told him how fantastic he looked in all his robes and crowns, etc... One day a child saw him a yelled, "the emperor has no clothes." He has told the truth where as the others were too scared and did not want to offend the emperor, who only wanted to impress.
