On behalf of myself, Betsy Summers, Frank Sorick, Lou Jasikoff, John Diliberto and our many friends within the community... we are deeply sorry for the loss of two people who succumbed to cancer.
It never seems fair or right when a father outlives a son and we extend our compassion and sympathies to the Barrouks.
And it must be an incredibly empty feeling to lose a life-long partner and a doting mother and grandmother. We express our sympathies to the Pashinski family.
Let set politics aside and pray and focus on our relationship with the Lord. Allow Him to comfort.
I assume the families are Christian. As such, the bible promises that the separaration is temporary. There will be a re-uniting. We worship a very big God who is capable of many great things.
At the same time, having lost my father to cancer - I realize it doesn't take the painful sting away. It takes time.
