In a conversation with the head of Tracey's Hope, I learned that the Director was at her wit's end because DA Salavantis was not serving the people. Salavantis was not returning calls from an attorney reprenting Tracey's Hopw.
Animal lovers were apoplectic when the second horse died. The third horse, like the other two, would not be rescued. Arrogantly, the Humane Society Representative said, "It is my call." Salavantis supported him.
Then the third horse had to be put to sleep. Salavantis then called a meeting AFTER the third horse died. This was seen as "damage control."
The punishment? A fine. 40 bucks. And restitution for services. See below. But even still... horse killer Edward Balliet was afforded payments of $50 per month.
