Has there ever been a city where the two major newspapers implored citizens AND city employees to call the FBI regarding corruption... independently... just a day apart?

DEPRESSING THOUGHT OF THE DAY: If Leighton goes down "Billy the DUI snuffer" becomes Mayor (Bill Barrett). Not only do I know he fixed DUI cases when he was police chief... but why do you think the LCCC President ran from the cops then hid under the couch? Come on! Barrett: "Nothing to report here."
About all Barrett is known for these days is throwing citizens out of council meetings because he can't handle the truth. In an exchange Last Thursday:
“Out,” Barrett directed Kadluboski to leave council chambers escorted by a police officer.
HOPEFUL THOUGHT OF THE DAY: If "Failure to report a crime" is actually prosecuted as a crime... you could just fence in city hall and the police station and slide them their meals 3 times per day.
