Setting aside
the many issues I have previously raised with some of the WB police… collectively let’s grant them a
silent prayer asking for peace and wellness.
Questions arising from Sherman hills shooting…
Can you imagine
giving CPR to a 2 year old?
Or rushing a
dying 2 year old to an ambulance?
Then they have
to go home, perhaps to their own kids, and try to carry out normally. This kind
of stress also takes a toll on marriages.
I believe the police should be granted a “risk premium” to their salaries of at least $25,000. This would be to compensate them for what they have to face and the augur of their next shift potentially being their last.
